Meet the Owner
RICK BENNETT
A native Texan with a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, Rick Bennett began his career in residential construction while still in high school, apprenticing as a carpenter. Early on, he developed a deep appreciation for the strength, beauty, and architectural potential of natural stone—an appreciation that would shape the future of his work.
In 1998, Rick founded Specialty Stone with a clear vision: to bring world-class stone craftsmanship to luxury builders, architects, designers, and discerning clients across the country. Over the past two decades, the company has grown into an award-winning, highly trusted partner known for exceptional precision, artistry, and technical expertise.
Today, Specialty Stone provides comprehensive stone design, production, and installation for high-end residential estates, commercial environments, and signature architectural projects throughout the continental United States and surrounding islands. Rick and his team specialize in a full range of fine stone applications, including marble, limestone, granite, hand-carved stone, cast stone, and custom architectural elements.
